Why a daycare near SkyTrain matters
When the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain extension opens, the 166 Street station will give Fleetwood commuters a one-seat ride into Surrey Central and onward across Metro Vancouver. For families balancing work and a young child, a daycare near a station changes the day: drop-off, walk to the platform, and you're on the train without backtracking.
How close are we?
Both Pixel Wonderland Academy locations sit on 163A Street between 88 and 92 Avenue — roughly 1.1–1.3 km from the planned 166 Street SkyTrain station. By car, that's typically a 3–5 minute drive depending on lights along Fraser Highway. On foot it's about a 12–16 minute walk; longer with a stroller or in poor weather. Many commuting parents will drive, park briefly at our facility, walk in, then continue to the station.
Practical commute pattern

- Drop your child with our team (5–10 min)
- Continue to 166 Street Station (a few minutes by car, on-street parking on side roads)
- Board SkyTrain to Surrey Central, downtown, or Langley

What we are not promising
The SkyTrain station is not yet open. Opening dates published by TransLink may shift, and we will update this page as the official timeline changes. We make no claim to influence the project schedule. We do, however, plan to remain in Fleetwood when the line opens.
