🍼 Infant & Toddler Care
One warm, mixed-age class for our youngest learners. Babies and toddlers grow alongside each other under the care of ECE certified educators at Little Ones House.
For Infants (Birth – 18 Months)
The first 18 months of life are a period of extraordinary growth. Your baby is building the neural pathways for language, attachment, movement, and emotional regulation — all at once. Our infant care is designed around this science.
We keep our group small so that each child receives genuine one-on-one attention. Your baby will have consistent caregivers who learn their individual cues, sleep rhythms, feeding preferences, and personality from day one.
Responsive Attachment
We follow your baby's cues — for feeding, comfort, sleep, and play. Consistent caregivers build secure attachment.
Tummy Time & Motor Development
Daily supervised tummy time and movement play to support core strength, head control, and early mobility.
Sensory Exploration
Safe, age-appropriate sensory activities — textures, sounds, colours, and gentle outdoor experiences every day.
Sleep Routine Support
We work with the sleep schedule you've established at home and document all naps in the parent app.
Language & Communication
Constant narration, songs, and responsive talk to support pre-verbal communication and early language.
Daily Outdoor Time
Fresh air every day — in a stroller, in a carrier, or on a blanket in our secure backyard.
For Toddlers (18 – 36 Months)
The toddler years are a whirlwind of "no," "mine," and "I do it!" — and they're absolutely incredible. Between 18 months and 3 years, children are building the foundations for language, social relationships, emotional self-regulation, and physical independence.
Our approach is designed around what toddlers actually need: consistent routines, gentle limits, lots of movement, and adults who understand that big emotions come from a brain that's still learning.
Language & Communication
Expanding vocabulary through books, songs, narration, and rich conversation. We track language milestones and share updates.
Social & Emotional Skills
Learning to take turns, express feelings with words, navigate sharing, and form early friendships in a supported environment.
Gross Motor Development
Running, climbing, jumping, and outdoor play every single day. Our backyard and local parks are used rain or shine.
Fine Motor & Art
Play-dough, crayons, stickers, cutting, threading — activities that build hand strength and creativity simultaneously.
Music & Movement
Daily singing, instruments, and movement play. Music supports language, memory, coordination, and pure joy.
Life Skills & Independence
Tidying up, washing hands, putting on shoes, helping set the table — age-appropriate responsibility builds confidence.
A Typical Day
Infant schedules are always individualized to each baby's rhythms. Toddlers follow a shared routine.
